Why USPTO may shut down USPTO.gov accounts

USPTO.gov account holders must follow the Terms of Use for United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) websites and the Trademark Verified Account Agreement. If an account holder violates the terms or agreement, their account can be shut down. If this happens, they won’t have access to USPTO filing systems.

For more information, see the Terms of Use for USPTO websites and the Trademark Verified Account Agreement.
