AS A RESULT OF REEXAMINATION, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT:
Claims 1, 7, 9, 10, and 26 are determined to be patentable as amended.
Claims 2-6, 8, 11, and 12, dependent on an amended claim, are determined to be patentable.
New claims 27 and 28 are added and determined to be patentable.
Claims 13-25 were not reexamined.
1. A modular electrically motorized watercraft comprising:
a hull module; and
a driveline system having an electric power module and a driveline module;
wherein the driveline module is configured to be arranged at an underside of the hull module [ , such that the driveline module projects outwardly from the underside of the hull module] ;
wherein the hull module, the electric power module, and the driveline module constitute independent sub-assemblies in the form of modules which can be assembled to form the watercraft;
wherein an external side of the hull module forms an open compartment configured to receive the electric power module; and
wherein the open compartment is configured to allow water to flow therein when the electric power module is arranged in the open compartment to thereby enable the electric power module to become at least partially submerged in water.
7. The watercraft according to claim 5, wherein the through hole [ through-hole ] provides an opening for mechanical and electrical connection there through between the electric power module and the driveline module.
9. The watercraft according to claim 5, wherein the through hole [ through-hole ] is in fluid communication with the open compartment.
10. The watercraft according to claim 5, wherein water that flows into the open compartment is allowed drain through the hull module via the through hole [ through-hole] .
26. A modular electrically motorized watercraft comprising:
a hull module; and
a driveline system having an electric power module and a driveline module;
wherein the driveline module is configured to be arranged at an underside of the hull module [ , such that the driveline module projects outwardly from the underside of the hull module] ;
wherein the hull module, the electric power module, and the driveline module constitute independent sub-assemblies in the form of modules which can be assembled to form the watercraft , [ ;]
wherein the hull module includes at least one through-hole extending from an upper side of the hull module to a lower side of the hull module through the hull module;
wherein the through-hole provides an opening for mechanical and electrical connection there through between the electric power module and the driveline module; and
wherein an upper surface of the hull module includes an open compartment configured to receive and retain the electric power module.
[ 27. The watercraft according to claim 1, wherein the driveline module includes a motor, and an electronic speed controller positioned in front of the motor, the electronic speed controller being configured to control the operation of the driveline module.]
[ 28. The watercraft according to claim 1, wherein the driveline module includes hydrofoil wings and struts.]
