Public roundtable: AI and protections for use of an individual’s name, image, likeness, or reputation 9 a.m. ET
During this event, the USPTO will receive public input on the intersection of AI technology and legal protections for use of an individual’s name, image, likeness, and other indicators of identity. Requests to speak are closed, but you may register to view the event.

DOCX filing training 1 p.m. ET
Learn how to file and retrieve your patent application documents in DOCX format. We'll provide information, conduct a demo, and answer any questions.

Cooperative Patent Classification basics for blockchain technology 1 p.m. ET
Get an overview of Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) fundamentals and blockchain technology, and see example searches featuring CPC areas and neighboring fields.

Trademark Basics Boot Camp, Module 5: Application filing walk-through 2 p.m. ET
Learn the basics and see a live demonstration of trademark filing using the Trademark Electronic Application System, the required system for making trademark submissions to the USPTO.

Trademark basics: Learn the fundamentals 7 p.m. ET
Start your trademark journey in this online session. This event is a must for any small business or new entrepreneur learning to navigate trademarks for the first time. In this module, you'll learn the requirements for an initial trademark application.

Fashion, Beauty, and Intellectual Property: Handbags 1 p.m. ET
Virtual fireside chat with Emily Blumenthal, professor of entrepreneurship at the Fashion Institute of Technology, on the global impact of fashion and IP, including handbag design and the handbag industry.

The Path to a Patent, Part V: Understanding the role of claims in a patent application
2 p.m. ET
Continue to grow your knowledge of the patent process in this intermediate workshop. Patent experts will discuss the parts of a claim, show examples of claim illustrations, and help participants develop a better appreciation of patent examination.
