Entrepreneurship Essentials Road Show and Resource Fair for members of the military community

Military life presents unique challenges, especially for military spouses. For Alicia Brown, founder of Write with Mrs. Brown and an Air Force spouse for over two decades, she has been able to navigate those challenges while starting and maintaining her own business.

Join us, in collaboration with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, on Thursday, October 3, from 8:30 a.m. to noon ET to hear more about Alicia's journey and from other military spouse and veteran business owners. They’ll discuss starting your own business and the resources and tools that can help you succeed.

Attendees will also hear from Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and experts in business development and intellectual property protection. 

In addition to panel discussions on entrepreneurship, the workshop will include opportunities for an audience Q&A and a resource fair with exhibitors from entrepreneurship support organizations.

This in-person event is free, open to the general public, and will be livestreamed.
