America’s Branding Agency, the USPTO, announced the release of a first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence (AI) agent that handles some of the most time-consuming elements of trademark application pre-processing.

The USPTO and the Department of Justice filed a statement of interest in Collision Communications, Inc. v. Samsung Electronics Co., et al. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The new community engagement office, located at The University of Utah, will serve innovators in part of the eight-state area formerly serviced by the Rocky Mountain Regional Outreach Office.

This initiative will incentivize meaningful participation by U.S. small and medium-sized businesses, universities, and non-profits in standards development organizations (SDOs).
