Planned Events

Fee Payment Processing Maintenance
The USPTO will perform routine maintenance affecting fee payment processing from 12:01-4 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 8.

During the maintenance period, fee payments cannot be accepted by the following USPTO storefronts:

  • Certified Copy Center (CCC)
  • Assignment Center (IPAS)
  • Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
  • Office of Enrollment and Discipline - Customer Interface (OEDCI)
  • Patent Center (PC)
  • Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG-PMFS)
  • Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (PTACTS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) 
In addition, the Financial Manager system will not be available during the maintenance windows, and any recent transactions may not be displayed immediately.

Support for the online fee payment management system and USPTO.gov accounts is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (except federal holidays).

PTAB Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System (P-TACTS), you may use an alternative filing method. Please visit the PTAB-E2E FAQ page: P-TACTS FAQs (uspto.gov) and see A2 for information concerning your America Invents Act (AIA) petition filing and/or document filing using P-TACTS alternative filing methods. If you have any questions, contact PTAB during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., ET by telephone at 571-272-7822 or email at: Trials@uspto.gov. 

Trademark Customers: Filing deadlines that fall on a Saturday extend to the next business day. Please try filing again after the maintenance ends.  If you have any questions, contact the TEAS Team by email at: TEAS@uspto.gov.

Trademark System Maintenance 

The USPTO will perform maintenance on Trademark systems from midnight-5:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, June 9.

The following systems will not be available:

Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage.         For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page 
•       Trademarks ID Manual (IDM) will not be available.
Trademarks ID Manual (IDM) will not be available.
Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) will not be available. 
Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) will not be available.
Trademark Center (TM-eFile) will not be available
TTAB Reading Room will not be available.
Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will not be available.
