Transitioning from TEAS to Trademark Center

Trademarks webinar series

Did you know the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) is being retired in phases? As part of our goal to modernize our IT infrastructure, we're developing Trademark Center, a new platform for trademark prosecution.

Trademark Center features a new filing system, and introduces docketing and draft-sharing capabilities. The system is still in beta, and we’re regularly adding new features, but now is a great time to learn how your advanced TEAS drafting skills translate to the new platform.

In this in-depth presentation experts from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will:

  • Explain why TEAS is being retired
  • Discuss the differences between filing an application in TEAS and Trademark Center
  • Highlight key features such as draft-sharing and automatic saving

This webinar will use a high degree of legal terminology and concepts familiar to experienced trademark professionals, but we encourage trademark filers of all experience levels to attend.

We’ll post a recording of this event on the Trademarks webinar series page about three weeks after the event.
