This episode will feature a segment with guest, Sean Wilkerson from the USPTO Office of Public Engagement, who will talk about Invention-Con, the agency’s premier educational event for inventors.
We will also talk about what to consider when deciding whether to continue prosecution before a patent examiner or to file an ex parte appeal before the PTAB. Then, we will discuss tips for being successful in an ex parte appeal and showcase a few food-related patents for a light IP look.
