| 1. A system comprising:
a media including:
a substrate,
an inhibiting matrix formed over the substrate, and
a plurality of cells disposed within the inhibiting matrix,
wherein at least one of the cells includes a recording media, and
wherein a sidewall profile of the at least one cell tapers such that a width of a portion of the cell closest to the substrate
is narrower than a width of a portion of the cell farthest from the substrate; and
a tip electrically connectable with the media;
wherein when the tip is positioned over the at least one cell and a voltage potential is applied to the tip, an indicium is
formed in the recording media.
