| 1. An image processing apparatus connected to a server via a network comprising:
a reading unit configured to read an image on an original document;
a transmitting unit configured to transmit the image read by said reading unit;
a setting unit configured to set a parameter relating to the reading of the image by said reading unit or the transmission
of the image by said transmitting unit;
an input unit configured to input user information;
a sending unit configured to send the user information input by said input unit to the server;
a receiving unit configured to receive setting information from the server, the setting information being stored in the server
and corresponding to the user information sent by said sending unit; and
a control unit configured to control said setting unit to set the parameter based on the setting information received by said
receiving unit and control said reading unit or said transmitting unit in accordance with the parameter set by said setting
unit.
