| 1. A recorded article comprising an overt recording region that is visible under ordinary light and that is incapable of reproduction
using a simple color copier and a covert recording region that is only visible under at least one of a special optical condition
and using a specific optical tool, and that is incapable of reproduction using a simple color copier, the overt recording
region and the covert recording region being disposed on a same recording medium,
wherein said covert recording region comprises an optical retroreflection layer having minute transparent spheres arranged
on a transparent reflecting layer, and
wherein said overt recording region and said covert recording region are at least partially superimposed.
