1. A method for activating an ErbB receptor comprising contacting a cell which expresses an ErbB receptor with an isolated polypeptide having at least 95% sequence identity to a polypeptide comprising the amino sequence of SEQ ID NO:2, wherein the polypeptide stimulates tyrosine phosphorylation of the ErbB receptor.
