| 1. A multicast communication method, comprising the steps of:
(a) setting multicast join request information, an address of an access router to which a mobile node is connected, and a
care-of address of the mobile node in a position registration request in the mobile node;
(b) transmitting the position registration request from the mobile node to a network;
(c) receiving the position registration request, performing position registration, and setting session information data, based
on at least the address of the access router, for performing a multicast communication in a home agent connected to the network;
and
(d) encapsulating a multicast packet and forwarding the multicast packet to an optimal forwarding destination on the network
to which the mobile node to join the multicast communication is connected based on the session information data in the home
agent that has received the multicast packet from the network.
