1. A method for breeding a bovine cow or bull whose genomes encode for the production of milk containing β-casein A2, A3, B, C, D, or E but substantially free of β-casein A1, comprising:
inseminating a bovine cow that has been tested and identified as having a genome that encodes for the production of milk containing β-casein A2, A3, B, C, D, or E but substantially free of β-casein A1
with semen from a bovine bull where that bull has been tested and identified as a genome that encodes for the production of milk containing β-casein A2, A3, B, C, D, or E but substantially free of β-casein A1.
