1. An electrical component assembly comprising:
a lead frame comprising at least one member with at least one first contact area and a second contact area, wherein the at least one first contact area is adapted to electrically connect the assembly to another electrical component, wherein the lead frame comprises at least one cantilevered mounting leg spaced from the first contact area, wherein the mounting leg is configured to mount the lead frame to a housing, and wherein the at least one first contact area comprises at least one bent deflectable beam; and
a circuit member directly electrically mounted to the lead frame at the second contact area, wherein the circuit member comprises a first terminal electrically connected to the lead frame at a first location and a second terminal electrically connected to the lead frame at a second location, wherein the lead frame comprises a hole between the first and second locations, wherein the circuit member spans over the hole between the first and second locations, and wherein the circuit member is attached to the lead frame as a modular one-piece unit.
