| 1. A loading base arrangement for a motor vehicle comprising:
a base element, which can be moved in a direction of travel, for depositing items, the base element having a laterally extendable
supplementary base; and
a rear seat, which has a back rest and a seat cushion;
wherein the back rest is connected to the base element, and, when extended, the base element at least partially covers the
seat cushion.
