| 1. An image heating apparatus comprising:
a rotatable member contactable to a recording material for carrying an image;
a heating member contacted to an outer surface of said rotatable member to heat said rotatable member;
a holding member for holding said heating member; and
an urging member for urging said holding member to contact said heating member to said rotatable member,
wherein said holding member is rotatable relative to said apparatus about an axis parallel with a generating line of said
rotatable member.
