| 1. A fiber mat comprising:
a plurality of elongated fibers, wherein each fiber comprises an internal cavity; and
a chemically active reagent impregnated into an adsorptive solid, wherein the reagent is disposed within the internal cavities
of at least some of the fibers, and wherein the reagent comprises at least one complexing agent.
