1. A method of protecting data within a data storage system, comprising:
determining whether a security enable command is input to a controller from a host;
moving initialization data from a first area of a disk to a second area of the disk when the security enable command is input, wherein a location of the second area of the disk is randomly generated; and
erasing the initialization data from the first area of the disk when the security enable command is input.
