| 1. A microencapsulated metal catalyst, which comprises a metal catalyst containing palladium encapsulated in a polymer that
has side chains containing an aromatic substituent, wherein the metal catalyst is a triphenylphosphine metal catalyst represented
by the following general formula (I):
