| 8. An automatic icemaker which can be disposed in one part of a freezer and automatically make ice pieces, comprising:
a temperature distribution forming device that forms a temperature distribution in which freezing progresses from an open
side of ice partitions of an ice-tray and is completed near a bottom side of said ice partitions;
a first temperature sensor for detecting the temperature at the bottom side of said ice partitions;
a second temperature sensor for detecting the temperature near the open side of said ice partitions; and
a controller that determines that freezing has been completed when the difference between the temperature detected by said
first temperature sensor and the temperature detected by said second temperature sensor temporarily widens.
