| 1. A computer-implemented software system for developing an analytical device method for a chromatographic device, comprising:
a communication module to communicate with a user via an external user interface unit:
a processing module, further comprising:
a method developer module, wherein the method developer module automatically develops a complete analytical device method
based on an analytical device method parameter provided by the user through the external user interface unit and communicated
via the communication module, wherein the method developer module automatically develops the complete analytical device method
by executing at least one decision rule to determine at least one analytical device setpoint based on the user provided analytical
device method parameter, wherein the complete analytical device method includes instrument control, sample injection and data
analysis setpoints for the chromatographic device, wherein the user can review the complete analytical device method and,
if desired, modify the complete analytical device method via the external user interface unit; and operating the chromatographic
device based on the complete analytical device method developed.
