| 1. An apparatus, comprising:
a solvent wash vessel to expose resin particles to a non-carbon dioxide solvent, the solvent contacting the resin particles
in the wash vessel to substantially remove contaminants on the resin particles;
a first resin particle removing element to remove the resin particles from the solvent wash vessel;
a separator to separate the solvent from the resin particles after removal from the solvent wash vessel;
a second resin particle removing element to remove the resin particles from the separator after separation; and
a closed loop carbon dioxide system configured to expose the resin particles to carbon dioxide to substantially remove any
residual solvent remaining on the resin particles after separation, the closed loop carbon dioxide system further comprising:
a carbon dioxide vessel to exposed the resin particles to carbon dioxide, the carbon dioxide substantially removing the solvent
remaining on the resin particles and becoming laden with solvent in the carbon dioxide vessel;
a separation vessel configured to separate the solvent from the solvent laden carbon dioxide so that the solvent and the carbon
dioxide can be reused; and
a solvent return element configured to return the solvent separated from the solvent laden carbon dioxide to the solvent wash
vessel.
