| 1. A membrane array comprising:
a porous substrate comprising a non-porous base region and a porous region adjacent to the non-porous base region and
a plurality of membranes adhered to the substrate upper surface of the porous region; each membrane comprising a transmembrane
protein, the transmembrane protein being accessible to assay agents on both sides of the membrane.
