| 1. A circuit assembly adapted to be implanted within a living body, comprising:
a core element formed of a thermoplastic material;
at least one circuit element capable of conducting electricity positioned in proximity to the core element;
a connector member to couple electrically and mechanically to a ring connector of a lead;
a receptacle formed in the core element for receiving the connector member therein; and
a guide member integrally formed on a surface of the core element to support and position the at least one circuit element
on the surface of the core element.
